Has anyone been to this chain of restaurants in Bangkok if YES are the reasonably priced or over charging. My friend said it's very good but he would pay high prices. Thanks in advance.

Pricey, but good. Must admit though, I have only been once and it was some years ago.

I went to the one on Ratchada recently, very very good, an improvement in previous visits.

 

Prices have not gone up like other places, so I found it oddly better value than usual.

 

I strongly recommend.

Thanks Pretendingtobemale I'll try it when there next month I usually go to Rama 9 shopping center only two more stops, was the menu in English knowing the area it would have been mostly Thai's

Yes, on Suriwong Road, not far from Patpong.

I was told about the Patpong one from my friend but it looks like a bit of a walk from the skytrain, Ratchada is closer to the under ground and a few stations away from Terminal 21 Asoke near where I'm staying. The other ones in Chitlom and Siam look expensive for the workers crowd possibly.

I was intrpoduced to the chain by Thai friends I worked with. I find the Ratchada one the best, the one I loved was out at Nonthaburi, long gone.

 

Menu in English, staff will often tell you if you've ordered too much.

 

Rathchada has had lots of famous people according to photo's on the walls. You can see the fish and crabs outside still alive.

 

Chili Crab is ok, but nothing compared to Singapore Chili Crab or Jakarta. Or FSM which is amazing crab
