Flashermac Posted March 30, 2017 Report Share Posted March 30, 2017 Good find. Gerald Sparrow was quite critical of Sir Josiah Crosby for advising Brits to stay put, when they could have left. Later it became too late, and Crosby was repatriated as a diplomat, while the rest were interned (fortunately under Thai control) for the duration of the war.
