bust
I read in Thailand A Ford Ranger 4x4 Double Cab XLT 3.2L 6AT is 1,019,000 Baht. Same car imported into Australia is A56,950 ($56590 x25 = 1,475,739 Baht). In Australia it is 456,739 baht more expensive than in Thailand or $A17,51. A whopping 44% more than compared to Thailand. cavanami
My Ford Ranger, 2.2 liter, 6AT, 2 wheel drive, 2 1/2 door listed at 700,000 Baht. Since I bought it thru the company I paid much less.
My Penis is hungry
Bust, the tax system in both countries is quite different. Anything like a pick up in Thailand gets low tax. Hence the Ford Ranger and many other pick up price differences. Cars in general seem to be taxed higher at the top end lower at the bottom in Australia, Its a more even spread from what I understand in Thailand. We have the luxery Tax, they don't.
