Well, whilst I am opposed to corruption in all forms, as a matter of principle, unfortunately, if you want do anything in Laos, you have to navigate it, for better or worse.

 

Like the time we ordered some rare and expensive wood for our Window and Door frames, as it was termite proof and dark red and gorgeous like Walnut Burr.

 

And then an huge Army Truck, an officer and 6 grunts delivered it and stacked at my direction by the house...

 

Illegal logging? don't know what you mean...
