Masks work?

Stanford study quietly published at NIH.gov proves face masks are absolutely worthless against Covid

The diapers most of us are wearing on our face most of the time apparently have no effect at stopping Covid-19. This explains a lot.

Did you hear about the peer-reviewed study done by Stanford University that demonstrates beyond a reasonable doubt that face masks have absolutely zero chance of preventing the spread of Covid-19? No? It was posted on the the National Center for Biotechnological Information government website. The NCBI is a branch of the National Institute for Health, so one would think such a study would be widely reported by mainstream media and embraced by the “science-loving” folks in Big Tech.

Instead, a DuckDuckGo search reveals it was picked up by ZERO mainstream media outlets and Big Tech tyrants will suspend people who post it, as political strategist Steve Cortes learned the hard way when he posted a Tweet that went against the face mask narrative. The Tweet itself featured a quote and a link that prompted Twitter to suspend his account, potentially indefinitely.

Barest nonsense of stratospheric dimension. Which is why Cav believes it.

No-mask fines now apply in 31 provinces

Interior Ministry updates list of provinces where face coverings are mandatory in public places

Thirty-one provinces are now warning their residents to wear masks when they leave home or face a fine.

The update comes as the national Covid-19 case total passed 50,000 on Friday, with authorities warning that a shortage of intensive-care beds was a real possibility if the virus cannot be brought under control.

Some good news...we hope!!!

A man who got his first COVID-19 vaccine a year ago in Moderna's clinical trial just received his third shot - and he's feeling great

  • Ian Haydon got his first Moderna shot in a clinical trial more than a year ago.

  • He's now participating in a trial to determine whether a booster shot would be safe to take.

  • Haydon has posted about his experience on social media and said he's been amazed at the responses.

Ian Haydon's COVID immunity is a popular topic on Twitter. The 30-year-old got his first shot of the Moderna vaccine over a year ago, and he's been sharing his experience on social media ever since.

Among the outpouring of supportive responses, Haydon has fielded many questions about his antibody levels, one indication of protection against the coronavirus.''

Staying 6 feet apart indoors does almost nothing to stop the spread of COVID-19, MIT study finds

  • The widely used 6-foot rule does little to prevent COVID-9 exposure indoors, MIT researchers found.

  • The risk of exposure from an infected person is similar at 6 feet and 60 feet, one researcher said.

  • The study said mask-wearing, ventilation, and what a space is used for were bigger variables.

  • The widely used rule of staying 6 feet away from others does little to affect the risk of exposure to COVID-19 in indoor spaces, according to a new study out of MIT.

According to MIT researchers, the rule is based on an outdated understanding of how the coronavirus moves in closed spaces.

They said other variables - like the number of people in a space, whether they wear masks, what they are doing, and the level of ventilation - were much more important.

Levels of Ventilation, oh go figure we did not work that out for ourselves. The virus travels with the airflow and the airflow travels with the heat / cooling.

ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers) have actually issued specific COVID-19 Guidelines https://www.ashrae.org/technical-resources/resources

ASHRAE are the minimum requirements and apply to commercial buildings and office spaces.

Applying the same reasoning to the virus as is applied to heat from a body and I find the MIT findings questionable
Take a 36’x36’ room with 6’ spacing, that is 49 people, 7 across 0,6,12,18,24,30 and 36 feet by 7 down ( hands up those who thought 6x6) Make that spacing 3’ and the number of people increases from 49 to 169 (13 x13) nearly 3.5 times more people
