bibblies
I've a feeling that Thais might understand the English word "dictate", if you say it in a Thai way. You could also say "tell me every word he said".
Boo Radley
Hi, From various literary sources: ¤Ó¾Ù´¢Ã§à ªÒ·Õèá·é¨ÃÔ§ÇèÒÃÂèÒ§äÃá¹è - What were his exact words? ¹Ñè¹à »ç¹ÊÔ觷Õèä´é¾Ù´äÇé·Õà ´ÕÂÇ - That's exactly what I said. ¨´¢éäÇÒõÒäӺá - To take (a) dictation. Brink15
Boo Radley, Another of the Ajarns of this forum. I didn't know if you would see this post. I already made the call, but I'm saving your post for future reference. Thanks for the Thai as well. I can have my wife read it so that she will know "exactly" what I mean. Cheers,
Brink15
I agree. I already know "poot dtrong-dtrong" and feel it means speak truthfully. I was looking for "exactly," as in "tell me exactly what he said." The option you gave me already worked. My sister-in-law understood what I needed.
