Old Hippie
Was in a bar on Soi 4 the other day (the one that used to be Tom's Quick) and heard a great song, which I thought captured the mood. The main verse was "...this is the road to hell..." Anyone know the title/artist? Thanks
Pom Michael
OH, All the Europeans are smirking at you I'm sure ! :: This is Chris Rea, the album is called "The Road to Hell", and the song is either The Road to Hell (Part I) or most probably The Road to Hell (Part II). The album was released in 1989, but I believe Chris Rea has been well known in Europe for many years. I had the same question a few years back - I had never heard of this song until coming to Bangkok. Cheers!

drbones666
Went to #mp3passion on Undernet on IRC and found it within 1 minute. Best to Download from there. If you aren't familiar with IRC (and are using Win-Doze) just do a search for mIRC or PircH, the 2 most popular IRC clients. If you're using Mac OS do a search for Snak. It's a short learning curve to MP3 and Warez heaven.
Pom Michael
OH, Are you still in Thailand ? If yes, check out any record store, you will find it. He put out a greatest hits cd a few years back, most stores will have it. Even in SFO, I'm sure if you look either at a big Tower Records, or from an online CD site you can find a copy. Cheers! kamui
If your mailbox is able to accept more than 3 mb I could mail you part I and II. On the other hand, the road to hell should be easily to find in Bangkok, how about falling in love in NEP.... ::
