Shot (2017)

One bullet. Three lives. Everyone pays. On an average Los Angeles day, a couple on the verge of divorce and a bullied teenager find their lives desperately changed when the teen's illegal gun accidentally goes off.

Not a WOW movie but it's the rainy season and an OK movie.

Dogville 2003 - Interesting

from The Guardian: Dogville is a formal experiment in filmed theatre, inspired by televised drama classics such as the Royal Shakespeare Company's small-screen Nicholas Nickleby of the 1970s. It is set in a small town in Depression-era America, but shot on one giant sound stage, with the street plan marked in chalk. The turning of doorhandles is mimed, and the sound effect overdubbed.

Some big names and surprises in the cast, including, Nicole Kidman ... who doesn't look a day over 16, Lauren Bacall and others.

Some fine acting on just one stage, but with the advantage that the audience (me) doesn't have to sit in one seat for the entire performance, as it's a movie, the camera wanders around getting the best shots.

3 hours, but Lars Von Trier does a great job, I was absorbed from beginning to end.

A woman on the run from the mob is reluctantly accepted in a small Colorado town. In exchange, she agrees to work for them. As a search visits the town, she finds out that their support has a price. Yet her dangerous secret is never far away.

Snatched (2017)

When her boyfriend dumps her before their exotic vacation, a young woman persuades her ultra-cautious mother to travel with her to paradise, with unexpected results.

Got a few chuckles on a transcon flight.

The Commodore Story of the PET Vic20 C64 and Amiga from engineers, games developers and how Commodore influenced the first 8-bit generation users.

Thanks a lot for reviewing this. I'd probably have never otherwise have known about this. I spent WAY too much time on my Commodore 64 when I really should have been out chasing skirt....that is probably a contributing factor of why I ended up in Bangkok! Looking at the list of "stars" in this movie, it really takes me back to the days when we used to hoist the jolly roger!
