I’ve remained very active and full of life throughout all these past years.
However, since December 2012 – so for 14 years now – I’ve been severely limited by a devastating stroke (paralysis of the right side of my body).
Nevertheless, from October 2014 until last March 2026, I was always in SEA; for periods of between 5 and 4 months;
during the European winter months from October to the end of March.
As far as I can remember, I also posted travel reports here on this forum; mostly in detail and always with photos.
But then Flashermac and Marcel passed away; that was a heavy blow for this forum.

During those years, I mainly posted on the website run by Alex the Scot (The Rockhouse – LK Metro, Pattaya).
But Alex stopped for health reasons and returned to Scotland with his family (as far as I know).

I also posted very regularly on the Secretsboard until the Secrets company in Pattaya closed down and moved to Cambodia.

And there’s also a very lively German-language forum where I was very active until two years ago.

So, that’s it in a nutshell.

The court ordered the department to continue measures to control and eradicate the spread of invasive blackchin tilapia.

There's a bar across the road from where I work which I occasionally drop in for a beer with a few colleagues from work. In Australia we have what's called a VIP Room which is just an inviting name for gambling. In most cases your basic Poker Machine or sometimes known as slot machines. It just so much reminded me of how the girls work a potential punter for a bar fine.

Finished my drink, had a little chuckle and left.

I have struggled through an injury (from my 20’s - diving accident damaging the vertebrae  C3 / C4 /C5) and with all the long hours and over exertion put into my business, I have made the injury worse. Have ended up on two handheld crutches.However,I now have the time to allocate to rebuilding my strength to get away from the crutches. I have several options….I secure the services of a personal trainer,do a programme myself,OR I head over to Thailand and seek the assistance of a physical trainer (Muay Thai) in LOS to assist me in getting back to physical health / strength. The latter is possibly more of what I seek, as it would allow me the opportunity to both improve physically and also to enjoy a long break ( perhaps 3 months). So here is the question - does any member of the group have any personal knowledge of a camp / gym / exercise establishment which focuses on rehab ? I am not looking for a city situation but rather a situation which could be away from the ‘touristy ‘ places? I have travelled LOS and have seen training camps around Phuket and the south side of LOS….but,I do not have the right  information I seek.
Would be great to get some advice from the guys on the group !

Last week, we reported on the arrest and deportation from Taiwan of porn star Mai Fujisaki, who had allegedly traveled there to engage in sex work.

Such cases are increasing (due to debts, the weak yen, and limited economic prospects in Japan), so much so that it is having serious repercussions for solo female travelers from East Asia, even if they are traveling for purely innocent purposes. Another story from last week was about porn star Yua Fukuda, who was detained at an airport in New Zealand, held for six hours, and then deported.

On June 12, Fukuda revealed on X how she was escorted away by 10 police officers for questioning, had her luggage seized, was held in a dirty cell, and was even drug-tested.

“All I wanted was to enjoy a relaxing solo trip abroad, but now I have to give up even that dream,” she complained.

The officers were suspicious because she did not have a detailed travel itinerary, though she did have hotel and tour bus reservations. Even if Fukuda’s purpose was solely personal leisure, the New Zealand authorities must have suspected that a traveler like her (and looking like her) might be coming for sex work. While it might seem discriminatory, border officers have to make decisions based on hunches and experience, and likely err on the side of caution.

Known to fans as Yuachi or Yuachan, Yua Fukuda is a 21-year-old adult video star from Osaka who made her debut in 2025 for Moodyz, and is known for her cute face and H-cup breasts. She released her first print and digital print books earlier this year. She used to use the name Mashiro Asagiri (though spelling it, for some reason, as Masilo Asagil — likewise, she spells her name as “Fucuda”).

It is possible that border officials could identify Fukuda/Asagiri as an adult performer (and thus, increasing the likelihood that she might be doing sex work), though AV stars almost always use professional names that differ enough from their real names to prevent such issues in their daily lives (including opening bank accounts, renting apartments, and so on).
