elef Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Maybe, depending how they orgainise their database, your name and social security number will be the same even if the passport numbers are different. What ND said about lost passport indicates that they can see if you use 2 passports. In Sweden all can get 2 passports, normal for all travelling in work to countries you need visas for entry.

I have switched and changed, just to avoid the annoying delays in counting days manually by spreading my visa exempt days across pp's. Makes it easier for the immigration guys so I guess they appreciate it too:-)
Encore Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Came in via suvannapoum last night, the friendly young woman at the immigration counter looked at my stamps (many), and used a green highlighter to mark those since October 1, to make it easier to count. I explained I live in a neighbouring country close to the border, so ofetn go shopping in Thailand for the day, hence the multiple entrance stampt. she saw my visa for the other country and seemed to accept my explanation. But she did look for them, and counted.

Pom Michael Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Noticed on my last arrival that the immigration booths at BKK airport now have new paper signs about this 90 day rule (in English) AND I saw the officer checking (counting) the guy next to me at the booth. Any others notice checks happening upon arrival?
