Quite good, worth a watch.

The Fix 2026

Disillusioned by the end of the war in Afghanistan, a group of disgraced, war torn ex-CIA operators set out to Tehran to take down a life changing score.

Also worth a watch.

Mayday 2026

Lieutenant Troy Brennan's reconnaissance mission over Soviet territory goes awry, forcing him to crash-land and survive in Russian wilderness while evading capture or rescue.

A different take on  the 1960 U2 spy plane incident, quite good, well worth the watch.

Widow's Bay [2026 TV]
The mayor of a New England town resolves to turn it into the next tourist hot spot, despite local warnings that it's cursed. This award winning slow burn TV comedy/horror series, is strictly for those into the genre, for others it will seem a waste of time and nonsense. More series to come to milk this for all its worth.

UNABOMBER [2026 Movie]
Follow Ted Kaczynski's transformation from Harvard prodigy into the infamous Unabomber. Subjected to controversial psychological experiments by Professor Henry Murray, Kaczynski's troubled past resurfaces decades later when his manhunt, led by FBI agent Joanne Miller, brings to light the chilling consequences of ambition and isolation. Formulaic drama offers little new when it had potential to do so.

Hot Milk [2025 Movie]
A woman and her daughter travel to the Spanish seaside town of Almería to consult with a shamanic doctor, a physician who could possibly hold the cure to the mothers mystery illness, which has left her bound to a wheelchair. But in the sultry atmosphere of this sun-bleached town the daughter, who has been trapped by her mother’s illness all her life, finally starts to shed her inhibitions, enticed by the persuasive charms of an enigmatic traveler. Strong performances in a psychological drama that never gets out of first gear.

The Uprising [2026 Movie]
As war and plague devastate 14th-century England, a humble peasant ignites a rebellion, uniting an army of commoners to defy the King’s might in a desperate fight for justice and survival. An adaptation of Wat Tyler’s peasant rebellion against Richard II, that tries to have a current message inside its story so Tyler’s character is low key, in preference for the collective revolt. Worth a look.

Tony [2026 Movie]
A 19-year-old Anthony Bourdain travels to Provincetown and stumbles into the chaotic world of a restaurant kitchen, setting off a summer that will shape the course of his life. This is less about the celebrity that he would become, and more a coming of age story of some unknown kid, for which it is entertaining to watch with a fine support cast and soundtrack.

I saw this one, very interesting how it came down to someone with a Philadelphia accent ultimately leading to his arrest. He had apparently bee part of the CIA MK Ultra project at some point.
