Trump to be president for third term, inner circle has a plan: Bannon

Steve Bannon, a former White House advisor to US President Donald Trump, claimed on Thursday (local time) that several members of Trump’s inner circle are serious about him serving a third term, adding that there is a “plan” to get it done. 

Bannon, who was Trump’s former strategist during his first term and a loyal supporter of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement, made these remarks in an interview with The Economist.

 

“He’s gonna get a third term. Trump is gonna be president in ’28, and people just sort of [need to] get accommodated with that,” he added. When asked about the 22nd Amendment, which prevents candidates from being “elected to the office of the President more than twice,” Bannon said there are many “different alternatives.” Without elaborating further, he said that at an appropriate time, they would lay out a plan.

130 million arrived from somewhere, a " friend of mine" to fund the military. Something never heard of before anywhere. :

In response to questions about the donor’s identity and whether they have any ties to foreign entities or interests, a White House spokeswoman referred questions to the Pentagon and Treasury. The Pentagon then referred those questions back to the White House. Treasury did not immediately respond to request for comment.

The Pentagon referred to the donation as an “anonymous” contribution and also did not respond to questions about whether it planned to brief Congress on the details of its use."

Even here in Laos the media is not immune from covering the orange Donatella. I had the extreme misfortune to witness Trump being presented to a cultural display of Malaysians doing a traditional dance. Donatella thought he was at one of Jeffry’s disco parties, fists clenched, arms going up and down milking a sky cow whilst boogie boogie boogie. The “keep ‘im upright” pills must be good ones.  You Americans should expire in shame.

Not “chickening out” per se, as much as The dump simply won’t do anything.

I think the wording is the issue. I think it says “…2 consecutive terms…” which implies a 3rd term is ok, but just not back to back. The dump could also run as VP and then the pres could die or resign…or serve as a puppet…
