Yes, actually, I would…others maybe not…the metric system was banned here back in the 1970’s as it was deemed “…too expensive to convert industry over to it, would bolster a lack of U.S.A. I have a working understanding of it 1) because I have been into Photography since I can remember and measuring processing chemicals was done in metric.2)I had an interest in chemistry since I can remember and playing with my chemistry set was also done metrically both of which gave me an upper hand when 3)we had metric classes in 6th grade and I actually paid attention and 4)As a seasoned world traveler, I had to learn the measurements in the countries I visited and all used/use the metric system. BTW, the USA no longer considers the metric “communist…” We now just say “socialist or socialism” when speaking of things we don’t like or understand…or if the government is trying to convince us we shouldn’t want something we need, like health care. BTW, I paid $4.79/gallon for 91 octane yesterday. *IF* my public school math is correct and the USD/Euro conversion rates accurate, this works out to about 1/06Euro/liter..?
