So while 'just in time' for us, means normal priced fuel, is already in ships and on the sea, on the way here, retail companies have been criticised for raising prices on fuel, that's already bought, delivered and in the pumps, the millisecond that crude oil market prices started to rise...

When crude prices come down, retail prices will lag as long as they can, before publicity shames them down.

Germany response was: “it is not NATO’s war. NATO is an alliance to
defend the alliance area.”

British PM Keir Starmer said his country “will not be drawn into the
wider war.”

Meanwhile, Israel continues to launch attacks on both Iran and Lebanon,
with scores injured and killed.

US President Donald Trump has lashed out at Nato allies after his call
for other countries to step up to clear the Strait of Hormuz met
resistance.

Trump had demanded about seven countries send warships to keep the
strait open.

He then said that failure to secure the strait would be "very bad for
the future of Nato".

Germany -  “The United States did not consult us before this war, and so we believe
this is not a matter for Nato or the German government.”

Italy also shied away from sending military forces to the Strait of
Hormuz, with Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani saying that while it
supports reinforcing European Union naval missions in the Red Sea, "I
don't think these missions can be expanded to include the Strait of
Hormuz, especially since they are anti-piracy and defensive missions."

Trump, “I was very surprised with the United Kingdom, because the United
Kingdom two weeks ago, I said, ‘Why don’t you send some ships over?’ And
he [Starmer] really didn’t want to do it.

“I said: ‘You don’t want to do it? We’ve been with you. You’re our
oldest ally, and we spend a lot of money on Nato and all of these
things, to protect you.’

“We’re protecting them. We’re working with them on Ukraine. Ukraine’s
thousands of miles away, separated by a vast ocean. We don’t have to do

It's the type of bullying to action that has secured key foreign policy
wins for the Republican president in his second term, like prompting
nearly all Nato countries to up their defense spending last year after
he spent years accusing allies of freeloading off American largess, and
using tariffs to extract investments and concessions from trade
partners.

But with oil prices soaring and the Middle East rattled by violence,
there's little inclination from other countries to heed Trump's call.

China is noncommittal. France is a maybe on escorting ships, when
“circumstances permit.” Britain is unlikely to dispatch a warship.

An anecdote, I was a member of a Hunting forum  (deer etc ~15k members) in NZ, and I got banned for posting a meme that ridiculed Trump in the joke section.

The mods words were "You are banned forever, and you can fuck off, and when you've fucked off, you can fuck off some more and then keep on fucking off."

It appears that Trumpanzees the world over, are very thin skinned.
