Looks nice…it will be a year or 2 before we start planning what to build and where…I favor the land behind our current house can be small I just need enough room for a few small projects… and solar panels…battery shack and cooling for seed batteries…

I think that the best explanation is that , whilst angling in a Klong an exceptional fish, hooked itself and hauled me into the water, whereon I came so close to expiring, that I have no memory of events thereafter,  until I woke up in Laos, technically part of Isaan.

Forgive me for my ignorance, "seed batteries"?  I am not familiar.

It is an alternative spelling of said or see batteries…aka the batteries that would be in the battery shed, needing cooling…

Ahh, iIthought it may have been some sort of special solar vernacular, for a kind of battery that I didn't know about.

Yes I would imagine in the heat, batteries would get hot :)

Sir, care to explain where your BKK-based "Deep Klong Anglers Club" fits into into this Lao-thing? No, I do not forget anything although it was probably 20 years ago.

Mother in law was walking around the village feeding stray dogs and gossiping with the neighbors and saw lots of fish loose in the street, due to the recent flooding/heavy rain.  she rounded up what she could and went home for a fish fry. Apparently fishing parks are becoming a thing up our way, pay to catch and release or catch and keep and for a few bucks more, they will cook it to order…

We had some rain, "nek minnit" hundreds of perfectly formed 3mm frogs, all over our front yard, seemingly skipped the tadpole stage, no ponds for 100's of metres.

And just to demonstrate that Laos still has an extreme obscene wealth gap, the son of some boss fella, driving one of these around Vientiane, they stop and pick the bits, of motorbikes out of the tyres, every few miles.

Refresh my memory if you don't mind. Laos left or right hand drive. Thailand right. Cambodia left same as Vietnam. Burma left and right due to the Junta not applying any conditions on importing cars in the beginning.

To clarify steering wheel on car not side of road.
