First time I came to Thai  (company business) was whole September 2000 (during Sydney Olympic Games).
Since then, whoever was born in Thai that year is now 25 years old. A whole new and different generation. And Thai as a country became reacher.

Back then, 2000-2005, there were questions about "Guest friendly hotels". Then, I knew something about that.

Now, I would not know what to say,  hardly anyone would even ask.

TikTokers, Instagram, FaceBook, that is not what we here stand for. Maybe, if someone, serious,  is setting themselves in Thai, we can chip in.

As the others have said, what you will get from 'influencers' is basically a tourist's video and blinkered view of the country. I'd advise watching Bangkok Pat's walk-arounds, he's been in Bangkok for years. I myself have been resident in the kingdom since 1988; worked here, married locally, brought up a family.. what you'll get from this motley crew are the more mundane things, like where to get medical care, decent accommodation, advice on sick buffaloes and a vague memory of those places we used to frequent. I personally am used to keeping a low profile (working here tends to make you do that) and make a 180 if I see some bloke or chick with any sort of recording device spouting off to the world about how amazing this place is.

Will wait for Stickman to add his two baht worth; his website also holds a wealth of information if you're prepared to sift through.

I already follow a couple of influencers who have passed through there but not who spend the majority of their time! Is there anyone you would particularly recommend? :)

Yes, myself. Although I do not belong to the esteemed group of Anglo-Saxon expats I decided to follow the urgent call of some Thai cabinet member long ago to spend as much money as possible in the Kingdom and therefore be awarded the title "Quality Tourist". Here is what I recommend:

On entering a gogo-bar you should bow as deep as physically possible and simultaneously offer a wai. Anybody already in the bar should be deeply touched by this grade of politeness.

Do not pay sin-sot.

Should you be ready for a serious massage in a massage place advertising traditional Thai massage only and should you later start thinking about expanding the treatment, do not just try to pull her panties down but ask instead : What can you do? And if the answer is " Can do many thing" ask for the price.

Hope this helps.

Here's why I wouldn't use this list

1 - there's a built in brothel at the Nana Hotel, no one told me! It's kind of a dream come true!

2 - the swimming pool is working again was closed for ages

3 - WTF It's raining!

The information here is sorely not up to date!

Where are the prices for short times, the latest on Cowboy (where the fuck did all the Indians come from)

Please if you think the list provides information show me the up to date information
