"Backlash revolved around her calling a Thai army commander in charge of the border area where the clash happened as “an opponent.” Critics said she was trying to please Hun Sen too much and made Thailand look weak."

Thai PM will not resign or dissolve parliament ... LINK

BANGKOK, June 21 (Reuters) - Thailand's embattled prime minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra will not resign or dissolve parliament, a senior official from the ruling Pheu Thai party said on Saturday, risking a prolonged political crisis in Southeast Asia's second largest economy.

Sorawong Thienthong, who also serves as Thailand's tourism minister, said in a Facebook post that the prime minister would not quit, despite growing calls for her resignation after her apparent mishandling of a border dispute with neighbouring Cambodia.

"The prime minister has clearly confirmed to us that she will continue to perform her duty to resolve various crises that the country is facing to the best of her ability," he said.

Look at this: ignorance at it´s peak. These people I´m afraid do not deserve any better.

"Democrats still have work to do to win the messaging battle against Trump’s legislative agenda. Polling conducted on behalf of House Democrats last month showed that few battleground voters knew much about the GOP’s massive tax and spending cuts package, which initially passed the House in May, according to PowerPoint slides of the data presented to members, obtained by CNN. Sorry wrong thread, in the meantime I found this:

In a private meeting to discuss the 2026 midterms, House Democrats brought in an outside pollster who presented internal Democratic polling that showed few voters said they had heard “a lot” about the bill, while larger shares said they had heard “a little” or “not at all.”

Hopeless.

Bubi, even in a tangential thread, the message is apt.

Historically when the greedy, vain and dodgy, worked out that their path to glory (their idea of success), was "controlling the narrative", the clever, the wise and even us here, said that the masses wont be fooled long term, by a farcical "narrative".

The clever, the wise and even us here, were wrong.

Collectively the masses, are dumb as bricks, and those of us who are not dumb as bricks, are rare and infrequent, diamonds in the rough, in a great big pile of bricks.

The Trump experiment is over - the results are in, the Trump experiment works.

How sad.

Historically of course, when the rich are too greedy, the masses will rebel and take back society, often with negative consequences for the rich:

England 1688

France 1789

Russia 1917

China 1945

'nuff said...
