Sir, alcoholic beverage being sort of food it depends much on quantity consumed to endanger cognitive functions while weed has no other purpose.

Depends who you talk to…some will say weed has medicinal purposes and I can tell you, it does…sedative effect mainly, helps with restless leg syndrome sleep disorders, anxiety etc… Weed is basically a relaxing effect, which, for the most part, puts people in a good mood. Booze can have a variety of effects and some argue health benefits in moderation… However, if you went to a weed shop and hung out, people are basically mellow etc…go to a bar and people can be more aggressive and more prone to fights etc…to each their own poison I suppose…

Man has been using cannabis well before he discovered fermentation, that’s why it was called the Stoned Age

Just like alcohol, intoxication from cannabis also depends on how much is consumed. Have a glass of wine or smoke a joint takes the edge off, Drink a bottle of wine or smoke 5 joints  a little bit more so.
The way you are talking is as if you have one toke on a spliff and are away with the fairies, not fat all

Doctors have been warning for a long time a significant increase of people ending up in hospital with psychosis. Not indulging myself since my teens I have no idea what the current strengths are so no idea what the effect is these days and have no intention of finding out.

No can understand

The comparison between weed and booze has been battled over for years…I’ve done both, preferred the weed of old over all else…

Weed now a days is a lot stronger and more of a “designer” weed than it was years ago. When I was youngster, I hated booze and preferred weed. Goddamn Ronnie Regan and his mandatory drug testing and bam I switched to booze and developed a serious problem with it. But I digress, weed in my day was 2%THC or so, occasionally we got stronger stuff about 5% but today some strains are 30+% they can almost design a strain to your desires, want a “hard/fast intense high?” Or a slow easy mellow high? What ever you want, they got it…so yes, they are now saying weed can be addictive and can cause psychotic reactions in some people…

I was just in Chiang Mai and noticed vendors still low-key selling THC vapes near the old city gates, even with the recent panic. A couple said they're holding onto stock until things are clearer, but I wouldn’t count on availability lasting much longer. It feels like everyone’s in limbo right now and playing wait-and-see with the new government stance.

The back-and-forth makes it rough for anyone trying to plan ahead, especially folks tied into supply chains. I’ve leaned on Bulk CBD Distributors in the past for steady wholesale inputs, and having a reliable source took a lot of stress out of sudden policy swings. Stuff like that at least keeps your production side from turning into guesswork while the rules keep shifting.
