A new racist post

Being a white male “boomer,” I am obligated to be racist, so this week’s racist post “…Chinese people, Do they ever wait their turn..?”  Was at 99 Ranch market today, a huge Chinese run/oriented supermarket here, and took my number to wait my turn… Some guy I knew was after me went ahead, I walked up, presented my number “84,” he had 86. I said I am next, yet he insisted he go ahead of me…fuck that, I demanded he wait his turn, and placed my order. When they called 85, he again tried to go, a woman spoke up and they had words, I said “wait your turn!” Rather loudly, and he shriveled and probably said “fuck you.”  So my question, “what is it with these people? They always seem to want to cut lines and push ahead of everyone else, manners, waiting their turn etc seem to mean nothing to them…Next week’s rant will be “uppity Maltese people…”

A similar story from the Covid days - I was in our local supermarket, I went to the aisle with toilet paper, as I reached out my hand to pick up a pack of 6 rolls, two separate Chinese (I know Mandarin when I hear it) women, dove in, one on each side of me, fighting each other to get the pack I was reaching for. There were packs on each side of the one I was selecting and maybe a hundred more on the shelves.

I now go to the supermarket at the quiet times, so I don't have to deal with this palaver.

Having witnessed similar behaviour, many times, I reckon it's because in mainland China, the competition to get the best bit of chicken or the nicest bag of rice, is such that when faced with similar situations in the West, the pushy pushy pushy drive, kicks in, with no thought of others in the scene.

Next one: at the Lao ~ Vietnam  land border on the way to Hanoi from Vientiane on the bus from hell, (true, google it). I was waiting in the queue to present passports for entry. When it was my turn, a trio of little Vietnamese lads, decided that their version of a rugby scrum was the only way to get ahead of me, elbows, shoving, the works. I have never been so angry.

Just as I was about to lose it, and as I was raising my fist, to deal injury to these little scum, an armed soldier nearby, with wisdom beyond his years, stepped in and cleared the miscreants away, directing them to back of the queue.

One more: at the local Lao temple, here in Middle Earth, after Tak Bat, there is free lunch, with everyone bringing something to share. An orderly queue forms at each side of the tables to get some. Every time when I'm waiting my turn, some (predominately male) one or two, cut in front of me. My only recourse is to hold my little finger up in front their face and smile at them.

Another reckon I've got, is that there is in the western world, a sense, for the persons of other cultures, of inadequacy and like small man syndrome,  the pushy pushy pushy drive, is one way to deal with that inadequacy.

Of note, never had the Middle Eastern, or European, or Polynesian folk exhibit this behaviour, mainly SEA.

Personally, none of my wives have been caucasian and only a few of my girlfriends. Mainly due to Karen tendencies exhibited by the caucasian girls I've fancied.

That is another thing, whenever I go to the Chinese grocery near our place, there will inevitably be some old (usually a woman) in her car, waiting for 1 particular parking spot to open, while blocking traffic in the process. Mind you, there are dozens of other spaces that are open and just as convenient, but she wants that 1 space and will wait all day for it, with no regard for the others she is blocking…

I notice it mainly with the Chinese people, main landers seem the worst…

Yep they'll do it in the street here, they'll stop in the middle of the road, 'cause they saw someone get into a car and they want the spot. The one who got into the car, is just having a nap, there are now 40~50 cars backed up behind the one who wants the spot.

Yeah, but big parking lot, tons of other spaces they can, but NO! It has to THAT PARTICULAR 1…

This not bad behaviour of the Chinamen but a genetic predisposition, indeed a Mainland thing mostly. The Taiwanese are much different.

People I know from TRaiwan are very well mannered and basically hate the main landers…

...here in Middle Earth, if anyone protests against the Mainland version of world views, blokes from the Chinese embassy, will be in attendance to shout and sometimes beat down, said protest. Several court cases involving such behaviour. Mainly Falun Gong victims.
