I am remotely aware of pacemakers as family members had them. In the case of the aforementioned NPP, I am relying the information he provided. Not sure what ever happened to him, last I heard he had relocated to Pattaya for cleaner air. I suppose he’d be about 80+ or so now…

My heart condition is due to clogged arteries,  but nothing serious. I take statins to lower my cholesterol. It’s improving the problem.

My main problem is Allergies. It damned near killed me during the Pandemic with anaphylactic symptoms that I managed to will myself out of. But a new drug came out this year that can help me—a 50-50 chance it will. It retails for about $50,000 USD per year— two pills per day. Hopefully this magic pill will make me feel well enough to visit Thailand later this year. I already made reservations.

There is a good chance that a change in the environment can improve the allergy problem. I have been to LOS many times but I don’t recall having allergies while there. I may have to move there for health reasons.

<<First, Gee thanks for the Blue cup Award… all out of decoder-rings these days are ya??🙂>>

That’s about a grand a week! I also have severe allergies these days and I have bad news for you: as you age your symptoms will likely get worse. Mine did, and I think that is the general tendency on most ailments, as you age it all gets worse. Juniper is one of my terrors, unfortunately it’s found in all the lower 48. Could you post the name of this new drug? Also, please post here your results as I’m for one interested even at such a price depending on my Rx plan of course. The shots work best for me but only every 3 months which sucks. I Hope it works for you.

My father never went to the doctor. The one time he felt the need he died 13 days later. Incredibly fit, healthy diet, light social drinker, non-smoker and died of lung cancer. I swore from that day I would have a full medical on my birthday every year. Been over 20 years now and my doctor said whatever your doing, just keep doing it. Late last year the only issue he saw was a vitamin D insufficiency. Have a 1000mg of D3 every day and touch wood 👌

And I still party hard at times.

As I aged, my allergies developed into CSU and CINDU (AI can tell you what they are). The drug I plan on taking is Rhapsido. Insurance will cover about 90% of the cost. I'm scheduled to see an Allergist who can get me this drug.

I had allergies as a kid, then they laid “dormant” for a few years and came back with a screaming vengeance. I did the shots for about 4+ years and now I seem to be o.k..
