Historic wingsuit flight over Bangkok

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in partnership with Red Bull, marked a milestone for Thailand’s tourism and extreme sports landscape by supporting a historic wingsuit flight over Bangkok, April 2.

The feat saw Hollywood stuntman and Red Bull Air Force athlete Miles Daisher leap from an aircraft and soar past Lebua at State Tower at speeds of 260 kilometres per hour before landing on a vessel along the Chao Phraya River, reinforcing Thailand’s position as a destination for experience-driven and high-adrenaline travel...  

(such as being chased down Sukhumvit at 3 am, by thieves of indeterminate gender)...

As I recall, he got it, posted a bit after that then vanished…he had carried on a few times about he and his dad  having been chased by katoeys…Coss’s comment reminded me of that for some reason…

Exactly…I keep looking for news about a scandal involving a Florida republican about that age…thinking it must be him…the years went by quickly it seems…I’m now the age others were when I met them, and they are old now…First trip to Thailand in 1986, old guys were sitting on a bar stool telling me “…shoulda been here when…” Now I’m that old guy…

I still feel young at heart…internal systems seem to be working ok…knees are jacked up…sciatica now and then but basically ok…
