Coss Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 Thai Airways is increasing its fuel surcharge on international tickets due to a "fuel crisis" caused by rising global aviation fuel prices linked to conflict in the Middle East. The new surcharge rates will be almost 100% higher, effectively doubling this portion of the ticket cost for passengers on routes like Bangkok to London, Tokyo, and Sydney. LINK
Old Hippie Posted April 28 Report Posted April 28 I would say “Fuck the dump,“ however I fear I may be arrested or sued…

This is complete bullshit. Most airlines lock in their fuel in a futures trading platform. In other words they buy their fuel in advance when the market is favorable which has zero impact on the current situation. Again corporate greed and opportunistic behavior that we pay for.
Coss Posted April 29 Author Report Posted April 29 And they'll do like the at-Pump petrol prices - Rockets and feathers, prices go up like rockets and float down eventually, like feathers... Same same banks... ...well, business generally...
