Coss Posted May 28 Report Posted May 28 Satire, not real, nor Ai. Donald Trump has circulated a draft peace agreement for the war with Iran, among allies including Israel... ...and anyone else he sees. The organisers of the cage fights, that are to be held on the Whitehouse lawn, are considering Trump's request to include participants from the 18~21 countries of the Middle East, Trump has said "will be the greatest of all fights" . The draft Trump has shared, is not vastly different to the one that has been circulating across the Middle East for days, and includes photo-copied pages of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly known as the Iran Nuclear Deal, from the Obama administration. The agreement that Trump withdrew the U.S. from, on May 8, 2018. The aim would be for commercial shipping in the strait to return to pre-war levels within 30 days and suspension of further enrichment and supervision by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN’s nuclear watchdog. Iran would renounce the use of nuclear weapons. (see JCPOA) The scope of the agreement is deeply unpalatable for Israel, because it defers to Iran without making any new (since JCPOA) nuclear commitments and requires a permanent ceasefire to include Lebanon, which is at odds to the Israeli aim to remove any non Jewish human populations from the Middle East. Oman were reportedly shocked and furious, at Trump’s threat to bomb them on Wednesday. Netanyahu grinned like a Chimp, when Donald made the announcement, after a phone call between the two on Tuesday. In continuing repression inside Iran, Amnesty International reported that the authorities had arrested more than 6,000 people since the US and Israel launched their offensive on 28 February, including protesters, journalists, lawyers, human rights defenders, dissidents and members of ethnic and religious minorities. Perhaps a sobering reason for this conflict, to be sanely resolved, despite and instead of, the 3 ring circus, Donald Trump has dumped on the region, with his actions. Satire ~ not real reporting.
Coss Posted May 31 Author Report Posted May 31 Also Satire President Donald Trump sent back changes to the proposed deal with Iran after a meeting with advisers Friday, officials said, extending the back-and-forth negotiations into another week. The exact changes Trump requested weren’t immediately clear, but officials said the president has insisted on tougher language. Also insertion of phrase "The Greatest of all Time", whenever referring to the POTUS. One foreign official familiar with the matter told TMM* the changes aren’t substantive and mostly center on a US desire for reinstatement of the Obama deal. Trump has also voiced concern at what financial relief might be provided for his family, from Iran, as part of the deal. One US official told TMM* more military strikes are unlikely with a deal close, and regional allies do not want combat operations to resume. The latest volley of proposed changes comes a week after Trump declared the deal “finalized” and signaled the end of the war. Since then, US officials have telegraphed progress on reaching an agreement that would end hostilities, reopen the strait and begin more detailed talks on Iran’s nuclear program. Yet even after Trump announced he would make a “final determination” during Friday’s meeting, and spelled out some of the deal’s conditions on social media, the two-hour session ended without him knowing which burger to have with his post-meeting diet coke. While Trump claimed in his message that the US would seize and destroy Iran’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium, Iran has consistently said "We agreed with you about this in our previous deal". Trump also claimed there had been discussion of exchanging money as part of the deal, a condition Iran says, must limit the amount Trump and his family receive, in any agreement. How those discrepancies are resolved remained unclear as the haggling over the deal’s language ground forward. Lower oil prices will also depend on how quickly refineries can revive their oil flows, after sites paused production amid the war. Elevated oil prices have triggered higher gas prices. Average US gas prices hit $4.34 per gallon on Sunday, according to AAA. That’s down about 18 cents from a week ago but remains almost 46% higher compared to the start of the war. Trump meanwhile is insisting that U.S. gas prices are hovering at $2.60 a gallon. Rising energy prices have affected Americans’ perceptions of the economy. Just 16% of Americans rate the economy as excellent or good, according to a recent Gallup poll. Trump waved off Americans’ souring perceptions of the economy, claiming gains in real wages and the stock market have made Americans "the richest people in the history of people"". “If they look at their wallets and look at how much money they have after, you know, the decrease in prices, they’re going to find that they have a lot more money,” he said. * The Mongey Morons
