Sakchai Lalit/AP BangkokAP — A huge fire engulfed a pub in Bangkok early on Monday morning local time, killing at least 27 people before firefighters brought the blaze under control, officials said. Footage shared online by first responders shows a huge blaze raging and plumes coming out of the front door of the Na Ladprao pub in the northern part of the Thai capital. People are seen trying to flee as thick black smoke billows into the sky. Rescuers said the fire was reported around midnight. Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul told reporters at the scene that 27 people died and that several of the injured have been taken to the hospital. I was in Playskool one night, my arms resting on the back of a bench seat, with a lass in each armpit, when a rat ran up one sleeve, across my shoulders and out the other sleeve (short sleeved shirt), I wondered then if I might suffer some disease or other, before I realized that the girls could also play this game...

Old Hippie Posted July 13 Report Posted July 13 If you watch the video, the intensity with which the fire is blowing out the main door is astounding. Looks like something is blowing it out…wild how fast fire blasts through these places…
bust Posted July 13 Report Posted July 13 I remember the movie Backdraft went into how oxygen deprived from a fire causes these blasts once oxygen returns. Hollywood I know but based on fact. Donald Sutherland's small role was all class.
