Sukhumvit Posted March 2, 2005 Report Share Posted March 2, 2005 The ICA Cinema on the Mall, London, is hosting the elaborately titled "Insomnia Season: Transcending Jetlag in Phnom Penh, Bangkok, Jakarta and Singapore." Running from 1-12 March the programme includes feature, drama, shorts and animation from SE Asia. Included is a retrospective look at the films of Thai Film Director Apichatpong Weerasethakul. Noted director Keng-Sen Long will be in attendance to discuss his and other's work. One documentary that looks particularly interesting is about the little known Yong tribe who migrated from Burma to rural Thailand almost 200 years ago.
