luckyfarang
Is there a Thai word for this, meaning never planning for the future, never considering the future consequence of present action?
Guest
The regular term would probably be 'mai khit thueng anakot', literally 'not thinking of the future'. I'm not sure if there's something snazzier or shorter.

"Khun mai mee kwam rub pid chob, mai kid thueng a-na-kot laew kor chob tam tua rai sa ra" "khun pen khon mai mee khunnaparp" "rai sa mud ta parp" "khun pen khon mai dai rueng" The first one is probably closest to what you are looking for. luckyfarang
Thanks Rad, but I was looking for something shorter. What is the literal translation of RAI SA RA/"rai sa mud ta parp"?

What is the literal translation of RAI SA RA/"rai sa mud ta parp"? The first translation is exactly what you wanted to know. "Khun mai mee kwam rub pid chob, mai kid thueng a-na-kot laew kor chob tam tua rai sa ra" "You are not responsible. You don't think about the future and you only care about today. The other one means you are incapable. "rai sam mud ta parp" I am sure there is a "jai" word out there that means the same thing, but I don't what it is. Ask Chanchao, Crash or Flasher, they are better at Thai than I am. Late, Raddemo
