chilli13 Posted January 20, 2002 Report Share Posted January 20, 2002 I'm no IT expert, but my experience as a win user goes like this: currently uses win95 which works alright, but pisses me off everytime it crashes & startup with that scandisk nonsens! win2k is NT stuff, so it has a bit of a driver problem especially with the IRDA(infrared connection) as I uses extensively with wireless data connections e.g. gprs via mobile phones... winxp seems to be really be the best of win95 & win2k except that I still find some problems with the IRDA. speed & reliability & laptop compability seems best ever & I don't see any scaring bigbrother stuff once you get msm messenger etc. deactivated... regarding pantip - yes I did buy it there & I feared it would expire after a month like the xp beta(whistler) did. however no such problems this time, but I also had to pay 200B like I did for the mandrake linux(which I haven't tried yet). only porn vcd's are 100B these days!!! enjoy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
