To completely remove it, on Windows 9x/ME go to start->settings->control panel->add/remove programs and select MSN Messenger. It should be there somewhere in 2k and XP also, but I can't find it easily there. To keep it from loading, open it, go into options, then preferences, and unselect Execute program when windows is started. Adams167 Posted December 4, 2001 Report Share Posted December 4, 2001 Hi FB, It is under Tools / Options /Preferences and actually says "Run this program when Windows starts".
