Interesting documentary on Youtube for those who remember the old rivalry between Arsenal and Man U, 'Keane v Vieira - Best Of Enemies'.

I remember reading a couple of years ago in the Thai news that karaoke bars around Chiang Mai were pulling a scam whereby Thai customers were forced to pay extortionate amounts after a couple of hours time on the premises with threats of violence for non-compliance.
This farang (French?) got caught with the same scam recently there. 47,000 Baht for 4 hours!
He says he just sat with the girls and had drinks and nothing 'special' occurred with the girls ie no 'extras'.
Some of the girls seem to have accompanied him to the police station to be sure to get their money.

Harry Redknapp was involved in an astonishing touchline row after being hit in the face by a ball thrown from the crowd at the New Den in yesterday's match (Millwall Vs QPR).

the bird in MOTR was rather fit, certainly made an impression on me as i entered my teens....
I still remember first hearing that song while travelling on a train in Germany as a wee nipper. This was of course well before mobile phones, laptops and ipads were even a gleam in an inventor's eye, so someone had brought a transistor radio along to the carriage and was playing it to pass the time.
Think the song was a hit in a few countries in Europe at the time. Ages me a bit lol

Also, don't forget Adrian Street. A bit like a cross between Emma Bunton and a Welsh Coal miner

Came across this stat in the UK's Daily Mail today, comparing yearly incidences of people shot/killed by guns in the US and UK.
UK 2008-2009: 39 killed
US, so far this year: 94,388 shot
Even taking into account the US' 5x larger population, it still gives pause for thought on gun laws in the US...

Yeah, I thought the exact same thing when I was reading about him recently. Was surprised to discover he was only 50 or so when he was playing 70+ year old grandads. I thought he really was that old lol
