  1. seems to have boiled down to a bunch of horny men wanting their virgin reward when they die

or in the case if isis, collecting their virgins on the spot ( in other words a bunch of perverts going after young girls ( and boys)

  2. " Lots of idiots commenting on the Bangkok Post about how they would have punched out the monk. That would have been fascinating to see, especially the part where most of the Thai men in that carriage piled on the Farang and beat him half to death. Are some expats really so totally ignorant about the country they live in ? "

It would seem that way ...

I think the monk's loss of face in the video ( losing his cool) is much worse than a beating

  3. It's a question that's often bothered me, why a culture will express dislike and even hatred, for the western way of doing things, but embrace all the western benefits, like cellphones, tvs, police uniforms, guns, automobiles etc.

they dislike the western way of doing things because they lose control over their witless subjects

  4. No such problem with my Mrs. She is paying for 2 houses with her own money. (As a C-8 civil servant, she has a nice income). However, if I were that husband, the gal's lying certainly would not make me happy. If she won something like that, I'd expect her to at least be honest about it.

or time to tell the wife to go back to thailand and live in that house ( which may have been her plan all along)

  5. Hi,

So, selling discarded pirated CDs is worthy of a 2-year jail sentence, yet openly selling them from stalls on pretty much any street / market is perfectly fine.

It is a disgrace that they even went after this guy in light of the thousands of people selling them as a real business.

    Sanuk!

his mistake was competing with the stall sellers that pay tea money to keep in business

  6. I don't think it would be as simple as that, China has a large stockpile of weapons of mass distruction too and would use them if attacked first. To China's credit it became the first nation to propose and pledge NFU policy when it first gained nuclear capabilities in 1964, stating "not to be the first to use nuclear weapons at any time or under any circumstances". Unlike "you know who" which has repeatedly rejected calls for adopting a no-first-use policy, arguing that a preemptive nuclear strike is a key option.

I wonder if their nukes will burn out like that chinese made drill I bought at harbor freight ?
