bushman
Has anyone had any experience staying at the Fortuna Hotel on Soi 5 near Foodland.Actually I am looking for an alternative to the Nana Hotel where I have stayed each year on my visits for the last 11 year. Thanks for your help.
Guest
Hi bushman Not really much except that it seems to be favored by the Japanese sanukers. Last April, instead of going to thai massage place across the street (the one you go upstairs), I decided to try the one connected with Fortuna. But I was hungry and the Japanese noodle (ramen) displayed in the window of the hotel's coffee shop looked refreshingly unspicy. Well, eating there I saw it was mostly the Japanese that came in && out of the hotel, although I was surprized to to see one Ozzie (he was complaining to the front desk loud). The lady boss seemed Chinese in her demeanor. The lobby atmosphere seemed to be one of lower priced hotels. If you do check this hotel out, let us know. By the way, the thai massage was as good as the one across the street and I returned the next day. Ciao! micsnee
bushman
Thanks. When I was in LOS last year,I stopped to inquire if I could see the rooms but was told that they were all full. I will check again in November. This is a great site Wish This was available when I first arrived and was a real newbie.
