hawaiijohn
Would enjoy connecting with any board members in Chiang Mai around the middle of September (approximately the 12th to the 17th). If anyone is going to be around at that time, will treat to round of drinks.
Guest
My friend and I will be there in mid September. Never been to Chang Mai. We were weighing Chang Mai to Cambodia... any suggestions? We will be in Pattaya the remainder of the trip. Looking forward to hearing from you.. Take Care, John
hawaiijohn
John - as to Chiang Mai versus Cambodia...it really depends on what your primary interest may be. There is nothing in Chiang Mai that will compare to Angkor Wat but there are quite a few interesting side trips available in Chiang Mai . The sanuk scene is definitely tamer in Chiang Mai versus Phnom Penh but definitely available. I have non-sanuk oriented firends in Chiang Mai that I visit each year but usually keep my evening entertainment options open. I had hoped to hook up with people who actually live in Chiang Mai who could perhaps show us the ropes. After Chiang Mai, will be heading for Pattaya which is another possible connecting point. Let me know what you think. -hawaiijohn
