trooper
I'd like to know where is a good place to go search for laptop bag in Bangkok. I probably do a one night stopover in BKK before going to Pattaya next time so was planning to do bit of shopping there. Is Panthip plaza the place to go? Or would I be better off buying that in Pattaya, I guess there is new IT mall there also. Pricewise which city is better?
cavanami
Pan Tip is OK but you will get a better selection and price across the street in the Pratunam market.
liquidflux
I'd head over to the Fortune IT mall on Ratchada. Easily accessable now by subway.

trooper
Hmm haven't been in Ratchada for many years so I will definitely head there. Which stop I'll exit underground and will I find that mall easily? That would give a good reason to check some massage parlors too on same shopping trip since I've got my ass down that way. Pom_Pom
Get off at Rama 9. 'Fortune IT Mall' is sign posted from there. The IT bit of the shopping center is above Tescos if you find yourself wandering through audio equipment with no laptop bags in sight. Beats Pantip Plaza hands down for most IT things now and is easier to get to. At Pantip I think there is a bigger collection of dodgy pirated software if you can last 5 minutes in that section without punching someone who thinks you need to purchase porn in Thailand rather than make your own. And perhaps more electronics and hobbiest stuff.
