WorldFun
Good question True Move has the widest 3G (HSPA) coverage in BKK now, but that doesn't say much!!! Basically True covers Siam Paragon, CentralWorld & a bit outside of those around Siam, Chitlum etc. AIS only indoor (Central/Paragon) & additionally True has a bit of coverage around their Ratchada tower (Explanade) & also around Pak Kret/ChaengWattana... In Chaing Mai it's city wide though (AIS/GSM Advance)... TrueMove currently is running a 299/month wifi+3g+edge+gprs flat rate, but after first 3months it 'converts' into a 'limited xx GB' forgot details, but probably the best deal for now. AIS comes close to 1000/month for 'flatrate' which DTAC also has although DTAC doesn't have any 3G/HSPA coverage yet... As for expansion for 3G BKK citi wide & next provinces I'd say don't count on it in the near future due to current financial climate, but maybe Q3/Q4 or next year... Ohh HSPA/3G speeds are not bad can be up to several megs DL, but typically 1-2M & 384k UL... Cheers!
