tomyamtalae
I heard a while ago that the former TAT governor Khun Juthamas was going to be charged for her part in the Thailand film festival corruption case . Is this one of those times where things have gone conveniently quiet or have I missed something? If you don’t know about the case, this charming lady pocketed about 12 million baht in bribes from a US businessman in return for giving him contracts for the film festival. The guy has been jailed over in the US, but Juthamas remains free for now, although the evidence seems pretty overwhelming. Do you reckon there’ll be any great incentive to bring her to book? (I think I remember Thaksin appointed her, so she obviously knows/knew the right people).
