Guest
aloha: The icons could be too big because the resolution of the screen may have been reset. Check the screen area size under the settings tab. For the title bar size and font. Under the Appearance tab there will be options for the item called "Active Title Bar", click on the Active Window box displayed there and the form will be reset. The options you want are probably: Scheme: Windows Standard Item: Active Title Bar Size 18 Font - Tahoma Size 8 Windows 2000 is much better, you should switch if you have a chance. Very, very, very stable, for me anyway. Handy

Guest
Not sure about those two items you mention. Win 98 might be a bit different from Win 2000 in that regard. There could be two possibilities. One is as I mentioned before, the screen resolution. The other possibility is under the >Display >Effects tab, ensure that the large icons box is not checked. Let me know if this is not it. I'll see what else I can come up with. Handy

Guest
I found someting: Desktop> Properties > Appearances Icon spacing is 43 (for small icons which are 75 by 75 pixels and are 32 pixels in size)
Guest
Try 15 for the scrollbar width.
