Flashermac
The Bank of Thailand has found fake Bt1,000 banknotes in the system. In stated it spotted two fake banknotes, which showed no watermarks on HM the King’s photo. It said police have been alerted and it will start a scheme to raise awareness for fake banknotes. It said authentic banknotes are printed on special paper which is thicker. The watermarks are visible in bright light. Thanks to the special ink, the figures on the notes can change colours at different angles. http://www.nationmultimedia.com/breakingnews/BOT-alert-on-fake-Bt1000-banknotes-30239752.html
King Kung
With so many transactions taking place in dark, hushed corners, I'm surprised it's not more common. Or maybe it is, and in such case, more commonly reported.
