You should apply for a job as an acrobat in a Disneyland Entertainment Parc in the language department.

Efficacy is 51% for preventing symptomatic disease & 100% for preventing hospitalization  ( WHO as per June 21 about Sinovac))

If there would not be better products available, people would still queue to get Sinovac at any price.

Fact lessons given  to temporarily petulant gentlemen free of charge .

The 51% was the number for the initial COVID virus, not for the Delta strain. The numbers in Indonesia, that relied on Sinovac, show it is ineffective. In Thailand a doctor died from COVID. She was fully vaccinated with sinovac.

    Hi,

This is all but admitting that backhanders were paid during the vaccine procurement process.

    Sanuk!

Why else would Thailand continue to buy Sinovac. It is ineffective against Delta, that is the dominant strain in Thailand.

Govt Calls In Private Sector To Import 25m Jabs As Outbreak Worsens

Facing a Delta-driven outbreak of more than 20,000 cases daily, and barely 6 per cent of the population fully vaccinated, Thailand is finally handing its private sector the means to import vaccines directly...

Since sinovac is ineffective against Delta, 6% is the wrong number. It is much less for effective vaccination.

  4. The sandbox can not bring in the million tourists. Too many hoops to jump through for a 1 or 2 week holiday. The threat of being sent to an ASQ hotel at an additional $2K USD, as a close contact, is ever present. Plus the possible 2 week isolation on returning home means very few will take the risk.

Thailand will fully reopen to visitors within 120 days after more than a year of coronavirus travel restrictions, a calculated risk required to support the economy, Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha said on Wednesday.

Thailand was ahead of target in securing 105.5 million doses of coronavirus vaccine for this year, and would seek more supplies next year, Prayuth said, according to a transcript of a recorded televised speech provided by his office.

  6. With all these ever changing restrictions, Thailand would be lucky to get 100K tourists. I heard (on YT) from a tourist guide that initially almost 30K applied for the Phuket sandbox. Then the news that the 7 day restriction was to go to 14 days and the closing of bars, about half cancelled.

It is pretty much guaranteed there will be some COVID positive tests from tourists. Will Phuket go into full lock down? That would be some vacation.:medusa:

  7. Some people do suffer side effects such as headache, fever, aches, and tiredness. These effects last only 2 or 3 days.

I got the J&J jab. I was slightly tired for a couple of days. My brother was the same (in terms of side effects) with the Moderna jab. My sister was pretty much knocked out for a couple of days (Moderna jab).
