Enjoy a great I-Day with American hot dogs, hamburgers, a Chili Cook-off and American Beer. There will be games for everyone, old and young. The evening will close with the US Marine color Guard and a spectacular fireworks show. General admission is 100 Baht with children up to 12 years free. No parking at NIST, but free shuttle buses will run regularly from the BTS Asok Station. For more information, please see: http://www.idaybkk.com. *HELP SUPPORT AMCHAM'S BOOTH AT THE PICNIC!* The Community Projects committee needs support for our I-Day Fundraising activities at the AMCHAM booth to raise funds for our student scholarship and Adopt-a-School program. This year, we will be holding a raffle of fine wines and you can support us by: 1) Sponsor a case of wines at 6,000 Baht per case. In exchange for your contribution, we will be pleased to tie a "donated by" tag around the neck of each bottle from the case or cases you wish to contribute. It is an excellent opportunity to receive additional exposure for your company at a well-attended event and to contribute to our education programs. A contribution of 6,000 Baht per case can be made to the AMCHAM office who will then arrange for the wine to be delivered to the event. At the special price offered, you are also welcome to make a personal purchase as well. If you are interested, please indicate how many cases you wish to sponsor at the event and how many you would like to purchase for yourself. 2) Donate small items valued at 10-40 Baht. If your company has any old promotional/sample items you want to distribute, we will take them. Free pickup for items of over 200 quantities or above in the Bangkok area. 3) Volunteer your time! We need volunteers to run the raffle, so please come out and help. 4) Come by and visit us and participate. Every entry wins a prize.
