David Arthur convicted and transferred to Bangkok for deportation

David Arthur was fined 15,000 Baht by the Chiang Mai Court and is pending deportation from Suan Phlu Detention Centre.

Chiang Mai's David Leonard Arthur convicted and transferred to Bangkok IDC

CHIANG MAI: David Leonard Arthur, aka "IT Manager" aka "David Alexander" has been convicted by the Chaing Mai Court for harboring illegal aliens in his home and was fined 15,000 Baht and deportation by the court.

David Arthur apparently knew the parents of the two kids he was harbouring. The real parents never officially registered their births in Thailand, and they are now being held in a prison in Myanmar because of no ID. In reality, those kids are hill tribes, not Burmese, but Thailand authorities dumped them there across the border.

Just prior to Davids arrest, Thai authorities received a number of complaints which involved poor business activities. It is reported that one of his supposed clients hired David to do some work for him, and the results were not satisfactory. This same client was also being investigated by the Thai authorities and somehow David also found out this person had a dark side of paedophilia activities.

As time went on, this person filed complaints to the Thai authorities, that was investigated in a sense, but lightly so to speak. The person became frustrated in trying to either get David to ante up or shut down all together.

This person then went to the Australian authorities for a background check to find out more about David's previous activities. In the interim of all of this, this same person was starting to get the heat from the Thai authorities concerning his activities here in Thailand involving peadophilia.

This person found out David had a prior record of paedophilia in Australia, and got the Australian authorities notifying Thai authorities of such background thus succeeding in getting the attention being diverted away from him.

When the Thai authorities found out about Davids past, they had enough, and charged David on the harboring charges and The Immigration Bureau deaclared David Arthur persona non grata on evidence of David's prior arrest records courtesy of the Australian Embassy and officials in Australia.

He was jailed for one month immediately, to pursue the ultimate one if true. Once David was in custody, the confirmation came in and that is how David got both charges.

The Thai prosecutor and Immigration said there was no evidence to indicate any paedophilia case in Thailand. He simply got someone angry enough to go after him full tilt due to a bad business deal that went sour.

Anyway, according our source, David apparently was able to get most of his affairs done before his arrest. Most of it was his property that he had such as his car and other things and some banking business.

David is to be transferred to the Immigration Detention Centre (IDC) in Bangkok on May 29, 2004. David had asked for a 24 hour escort as freedom before he was scheduled to be deported to Australia, but it is not known whether this was granted as his deportation date is yet to be determined. Apparently he has relatives awaiting his arrival in Brisbane, Australia.

According to an unconfirmed source there is no warrant outstanding in Australia on him. He has already served several jail sentences there for paedophilia. We have been unable to confirm with the Australian Emabssy due to privacy issues.

David Arthur's legal expenses was apparently 70,000 Baht for lawyer, fine, travelling, court filings etc., totalling an amount of 150,000 Baht.

This seems to be written to cast a favorable light on IT. However, would it be a fair guess there is a relationship between the age and sex of the kids staying with IT and his former victims in Aus? He's guilty of paedophilia multiple times already and was now associating with another paedophile (what a coincidence, yeah right). From what I see here, the Thai authorities did the absolute minimum by booting him and he is probably very lucky there wasn't a wider investigation.

HT,

No idea at all, but is this not the ThaiVisa owner ?

BB

Think IT MANAGER was a very active moderator on Thaivisa but there appears to be someone else who is higher up there and probably the owner (George).

Unbelievable to me was how many Thaivisa people seemed to support or downplay IT Mgr's arrest and his apparent past activity in Chiang Mai. Hope it is not indicative of the community of CM or Thaivisa.

Pedos should be castrated the first time they are convicted of being a pedo. They should be publicly identified for neighborhood kid's sake. They should not be permitted to travel to other countries after they are released. Maybe prohibit them form holding a passport ever. Bastahds!

Hi BB,

No idea either, but I posted as seems to be very slanted in favor of this guy. ?????? ::

It would seem that he has some affiliation with Thaivisa.com, in some respect. Came across to me as really strange. :dunno:

It's been done to death on thaivisa.com where the bloke was a mod, until recently, but that is all, not otherwise connected with the board's owner whatsoever - but don't read the postings unless you want your head done in with - reality is very much stranger than a fiction-writer could ever come up with! The defenders are prevelant and so are the rednecks!
