BKKNUT,

Well, the casino in Angeles had a 100/200P ($2/4) NL game, but it was real inconsistent. Some nights it didn't have more than 3-4 other players and wasn't worth playing, especially with the awful rake (10%, max 500P). Other nights it was loaded with the worst fish I have ever seen. How bad were they? How about calling a 15,000P all-in (less than 10,000P in the pot pre-flop) with pocket 10's on a AKQ rainbow flop. One 100,000P pot (all the money got in pre-flop had AA vs. A9o, AKo and 99. Of course, the one outer hit the river and the guy with the 9's won $2000, reinforcing his horrible play.

The airport casino in Manila (the only one that has poker, it seems) had more games going. At least 2 tables of 20/40P NL during the week, and 50/100P and sometimes 100/200P NL on the weekends. As far as collusion goes, all the players were local Filipino's and regulars that knew each other and the English only rule wasn't enforced at all, but all I saw was bad play.

Neither game was consistantly good enough to make a living and both were the only games in town, but made a nice diversion for me and I managed to pay for my way too expensive hotel bill in Angeles with poker profits :).
