limbo Posted July 28, 2006 Report Share Posted July 28, 2006 Yesterday there was a shooting in Lamai, which left one Thai guy dead and injured a BG. It all apparently happened in one of the many Rat bars, apparently one near the Weekender. As soon as more details are available, I'll update. One guy from Donsak got killed by the police (yesterday, two days ago?), he was wanted by the coppers for killing a police man last year in Chaweng. He was apparently shot down at the mountain to Nathon, taken away by the police and than tried to get his hands on one of the guns of the arresting police guys, that's when they shot him once more, this time fataly. I used to have this picture of this island being a paradise in the South. Pattaya probably has more simply because of its larger population? Most farangs did'nt notice them but theres always been shootings going on between the Thais there. Simie.
