samak Posted February 7, 2007 Report Share Posted February 7, 2007 yep, pai phao ya is a standard excuse for employees to stay away from work and go to their hometown; whether they really have to cremate their grandmother or they just burn some grass remains open. some have to cremate a average of 2-3 grandmothers per year...
