doxx
I'm looking to start buying stocks at the SET and would appreciate some pointers towards what online broker/bank to use. Thanks lads.
rookie
Fine, but you're over a year late. The Thai market shot up like a rocket in 2009. Yet, there is still profit to be had. Check out Kim Eng brokerage. They are the largest in Thailand. Their main office is in Central World and they have offices in most all larger Thai cities. You can do all your trading online, if desired. http://www.kimeng.co.th/index.asp?TorE=E
Pom Michael
2010 was when the SET shot up - 2009 it was down like the rest of the world. http://www.ktzmico.com/en/home/index.aspx - this is the old Seimico - now KT Zimico.

PMichael...I checked the market highs and lows for the years 2009 and 2010. You are correct and I was surprised, possibly because in 2009 I did very well (over 120% gain!), yet in 2010 I only managed a 16% profit. I'm just trying to cover for my depreciating home currency!
