Julian2
I love trams, some cities like Adelaide are extending their lines. First time I road a push bike in the city I got the front wheel caught in those pesky tracks and went arse over tit. Country bumpkin....
Flashermac
Ever been to San Francisco? The cable cars are great fun. In the early 1980s Bangkok talked about bringing back the trams as a tourist attraction. They would run in the GP and Sanam Luang area. Unfortunately, they could find only one old tram. It was being used - minus the wheels - as a children's play house by a former employee. They finally dropped the idea and instead made those little buses that look like the trams. It ain't the same. I missed the trams by almost 5 years.
Julian2
I've seen a few train carriages turned into beach shacks and my ex claimed to have lived in one with her redneck family when she was a kid. Her father was out of work when Australia never even bothered to have an unemployment office.
