Security Guards Assault 2 foreigners in Pattaya

A group of 5 cowardly security guards ganged up on 2 brothers who were in Lucifer night club. They attacked them because they only brought 1 drink.

PATTAYA – June 8, 2014 [PDN]; at 2.00 a.m., the Pattaya tourist police were notified by Mr. Eli Avrhrm, aged 31, Israeli nationality, with a contused face, that before the incident occurred he and Mr. Dekel Avrhrm, aged 27, the younger brother, went to Lucifer pub in Walking Street south Pattaya, then Mr. Dekel ordered 1 bottle of beer but Mr. Eli didn’t order anything, then a man in black clothes who is a security guard at the pub told Mr. Eli that if he didn’t order a drink he had to go outside because that’s the pub’s policy. Therefore, Mr. Eli walked out of the pub and then went back inside when suddenly there were 4-5 security guards who assaulted him injuring him.

Later the police took the Israeli brothers back to the pub to identify the attackers. They then arrested 2 security guards identified as Mr. Boonluea Hoondee, aged 42 and Mr. Wittaya Chairak, aged 25. They also said that there were more than 2 attackers but they might of fled the scene during the commotion. However, the police will rush to follow up and arrest the other security guards and they will be prosecuted further according to the Thai law due to this type of incident is destroying the image of Pattaya.

Heavy-handed, but shit, he was warned, it was a reasonable policy, and he tried to sneak around it... Can't be too surprised, and call me cynical, but I would bet there was discussion or interaction that contributed to the severe response... I've seen a number of people get a serious beat-down by Thai bar staff (JP staff have an exemplary technique of swarm attack, and seem to know when to call off the kicking, etc, before serious damage is done...), and every time I've seen, it can't be said the punter didn't know what was coming if he pushed his point...

How did they know he wasn't walking back inside to buy a drink?

In my experience, after being thrown out of a club, only a fool would try to get back in. It looks like the bouncers were brutal but he shouldn't have gone back after he was too mean to buy a drink when he had the chance.

Because one of them entered a disco and was too mean to buy a drink.

so why not Dutch or Scot or even Russian ? your comment was very derogative and denigrating !

Considering the number of Dutch, Brits and Russians in Pattaya, this story should have happened to them. But it happened to citizens of a country with a reputation for financial meanness. So maybe there is some truth to the stereotype.

I had found some of the bouncers to be extremely aggressive...I had just poked my head into one establishment to see

their LED lighting and I was pounced upon! buy drink, now!! don't come in here...get out...OK, I get the message and immediately left, no fuss no mess but WTF, way over the top!!!
