Last weekend there was a wine festival in the old town on Carlplatz. Winegrowers from German wine-growing regions such as the Moselle, Rheinhessen, the Middle Rhine, etc. offered their wines. We were there in the late afternoon and had a few glasses of different white wines. By the way: The pubs, beer bars and bistros are a huge beer festival all year round. The people of Düsseldorf and their guests and visitors drink by the hectolitre.
