  1. A Few Good Men (1992)

IMDB - "Neo military lawyer Kaffee defends Marines accused of murder; they contend they were acting under orders."

Stars: Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson, Demi Moore, Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon, Kevin Pollak

I come back to this film every 3 or 4 years, I like it that much. Jack Nicholson is awesome.

  2. El Dorado (1966)

IMDB - "Cole Thornton, a gunfighter for hire, joins forces with an old friend, Sheriff J.P. Hara. Together with an old Indian fighter and a gambler, they help a rancher and his family fight a rival rancher that is trying to steal their water."

John Wayne, Robert Mitchum and a very young James Caan.

I do like a good western and this is a good un.

  3. Ladyboys of Bangkok get their kilts lifted

THE lady boys of Bangkok are “devastated†– after their kilts were stolen just before the opening night of their Scottish tour.

Five custom-fitted kilts of “various colours†were taken from the performer’s marquee in Baxter Park, Dundee on Friday morning.

The world famous cabaret act, from Thailand, had intended to wear them in the closing number of their show, which opened on Friday night.

The extravagant 10-minute finale features the “girls†dancing and miming to classic Scottish songs including “The Bonny Bank of Loch Lomond†and “500 Miles†by The Proclaimers.

But their kilts were taken from amongst other props whilst the stage was being set up, between 7am and 9am on Friday morning. No other items were taken.

A spokesman said: “At first, the Lady Boys were totally bemused. Their question was – why?

“Nothing else was taken, only the kilts. They were taken in the morning, they were out with the other props from the show waiting to be moved into the dressing room area.

“Because of the choreography of the finale, the kilts have got to swing like kilts, they can’t use skirts or dresses.

“We’ve had to get replacements. Scotland has always been home to the Ladyboys – they’ve been coming for 17 years.

“They’re devastated that in Scotland, someone would do that.. They just feel a bit sad that it would happen here.â€

He added: “We just want our kilts back. They’re not much use to anyone else.â€

The show, which features 16 male-to-female performers, still went on, with help from a local kilt hire firm.

The UK tour will continue to dates in Aberdeen this week, and will feature as part of the Edinburgh festival in August.

  4. UPDATE

    7 June 2015

Leicester City have sacked three players, including manager Nigel Pearson's son, after they took part in a racist sex tape filmed on the club's end-of-season tour of Thailand.

    30 June 2015

Leicester City have sacked manager Nigel Pearson, saying the working relationship between him and the club's board was "no longer viable".

    1 July 2015

Nigel Pearson's sacking by Leicester was linked to his son's role in a racist sex tape in the owners' homeland of Thailand, the BBC has learned.

Pearson's son James was one of three trainees dismissed by the club for their involvement in the tape.

The issue was the final straw in the deteriorating relationship between the owners and Pearson.

BBC Sport's Pat Murphy has learned the 51-year-old's sacking was "definitely not a football issue".

Murphy said the Thai owners acted because they were concerned about damage to the club's reputation, while a Leicester statement said the relationship between Pearson and the board was "no longer viable".

Murphy added: "There is no doubt that the image and the reputation of the club in their homeland of Thailand has been damaged by the behaviour of, among others, the manager's son James on the 'goodwill' tour to Thailand."
