Any info about this film other than a picture?

Deliver us from evil.
Even though I don't belive in fairytales about demons and excorsism I find this kind of movies entertaining. As always with American thriller and action movies it is very well done and the actors are good. The plot is both consitent and exciting.
Yes, very good indeed.

Fargo (2014)
Not the film but a TV series, although inspired by the film.
Produced by the Coen brothers who directed the original, and brilliant, 1996 film.
Well this is also superb, can't recommend it highly enough. Billy Bob plays a very menacing villain.
10 episodes

What the fuck is this doing in the Scotland thread?!

God's Pocket (2014)
IMDB - "When Mickey's crazy step-son Leon is killed in a construction 'accident', nobody in the working class neighborhood of God's Pocket is sorry he's gone. Mickey tries to bury the bad news with the body, but when the boy's mother demands the truth, Mickey finds himself stuck in a life-and-death struggle between a body he can't bury, a wife he can't please and a debt he can't pay."
This is a little gem of a movie. I watched it last week on a flight from Dubai, but I've downloaded it since and the airline version is heavily censored, particularly for language. So will have to watch it again, which I would have done anyway.
Starring the late great (must have been one of his last films) Philip Seymour Hoffman and another favourite actor of mine, John Turturro.

Not a movie but a TV Series Life on Mars http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_on_Mars_(UK_TV_series)
First broadcast about 8 years ago decided to give it a look see again just watched the first 2 episodes from Series one this evening, not a lot else to do in rural Vietnam.
Its about a 2006 DCI Policeman who is involved in a Road Traffic Accident and is in a coma back in 1973 Manchester, now 1973 Manchester is my childhood and it is as exactly as I remember it, warts and all.
The best part is the Music, Bowie, BOC, Uriah Heep, Purple, Wings, Cream, Floyd, Free, Stones etc etc, Real Music IMHO.
Life on Mars is excellent, as is the music.
The follow up, Ashes to Ashes, is meant to be very good as well.

Unfortunately not BB as I go back to Jordan on 6 December.
-
Less than 3 days to go!
Was meant to be going from Jordan to Dubai on Friday for 4 weeks working but, as that was called off last night, I booked a flight to LOS instead.
I haven't ben in LOS since October last year, which is a longer than usual gap between visits for me.

Mekong..............................FUCK OFF
-
Yes Mekong, the Ryder Cup was held at Gleneagles in Scotland, hence it's in the Scotland thread, although it might not have been had Dean not requested it. Of course, only a bloody fool wouldn't have recognised the connection.

Final score Europe 16.5 v 11.5 USA.
Bit of a gubbing really!
-
Unfortunately for the USA, Europe won the foursomes 3.5 v 0.5, so Europe go into the final day singles with a 10 v 6 lead.
-
Day 2 - Good start for USA winning the mornings fourballs 2.5 v 1.5, so scores 6.5 v 5.5 and Europes lead down to one point.
But afternoons foursomes going Europes way at the moment, although that could change very quickly.
-
Another win for the Europeans?
Day 1 - Europe 5 v 3 USA
Day 2 - Just started
-

The Salvation (2014)
IMDB: "In 1870s America, a peaceful American settler kills his family's murderer which unleashes the fury of a notorious gang leader. His cowardly fellow townspeople then betray him, forcing him to hunt down the outlaws alone."
If you like the Western/Cowboy genre, as I do, then you should really like this. It's a bit different though, which is a good thing.
Eric Cantona is in it, but it would have made no difference if he wasn't!
