Guest
I stayed there two yrs ago. Had a walk-in-rate, no problems at all and for me was no need of making a reservation.
shotover
Do the Omni Tower rooms have combination in-room safes and VCR players similar to the Grand President?
Guest
As far as I remember, they don't have VCR, but in-room-safes in every room. IMO, the rooms are a bit better and better furnished than the ones in the GP, but the location of GP can't be beaten. A great plus are the washing-machines. Omni is definitely an option worth having a look.

shotover
"VCRs/ Radios can be rented" Can DVD players be rented?
Guest
Just checked the list: Nope, they can't be rented. I am wondering, why no DVD-players are available, even in other serviced apartments (checked centre point too and as memory serves me right, GP has neither). I think, it was 3 years ago, when I saw the last video for sale on a street.
shotover
I'm also surprised the better service apartments are not providing DVD players rather than the VCRs or VCDs. It would not be that large an investment to upgrade.
